Zwei neue großformatige Arbeiten mit demselben Maßstab und unterschiedlichem Bildträger: Canvas und naturbelassenes Leinen. Die geplanten 190 × 370 cm lassen sowohl eine horizontale als auch eine vertikale Hängung zu. Ihre Oberflächen werden bewusst Teil des künstlerischen Prozesses. Ein wesentliches gestalterisches Element beider Arbeiten wird der Einsatz von Flüssigeisen und dessen gezielter Oxidation sein. Die entstehenden Roststrukturen und die Veränderungen der Oberflächen werden Teil des künstlerischen Prozesses.Two new large-scale works share the same dimensions but use different supports: canvas and natural linen. At 190 × 370 cm, they can be hung horizontally or vertically. The character of each surface will be part of the artistic process. A key element in both works will be the use of liquid iron and its controlled oxidation. The resulting rust structures and changes in surface texture will become part of the artistic process.
Die Werke sind als eigenständige Arbeiten geplant, die auch gemeinsam wirken können. Wie sich Farbe, Material und Ausdruck entwickeln, bleibt Teil des Entstehens.Conceived as independent works, the two pieces may also be experienced together. How colour, material and expression evolve will emerge through the making.
